Brothers Ali and Flamur are passionate about bringing delicious bagels to Shelton, and they have their father to thank for that. BagelBros&Co is truly a family affair, and it all started with the patriarch of the Nasufi family.

BUILDING A BAGEL BUSINESS

To know and understand our story is to understand our father's. Our father's story began when he immigrated to this country at just 18 years old with nothing to his name and the determination to create a better life for himself and his future family. He knew nothing of the language or the culture, but he had a strong work ethic that would guide him on his journey. He started in the restaurant industry, handling dough his second day in America and learning the language as he went. Over time, he began to learn the art of cooking and making a variety of doughs, and eventually, he had mastered the business as a whole.

Through decades of hard work and determination, our father saved enough money to purchase the very restaurant where he once was a worker. He not only maintained a successful business for himself, but he also brought over other family members from Europe and taught them the business, so that they could create better lives for themselves and their families. This resulted in multiple restaurants being opened across the valley, all run by our father's family.

THE FUTURE OF BagelBros&Co

Growing up, we saw firsthand the dedication and hard work our father put into his business, and it inspired both of us to want to do the same. We wanted to provide the same life, if not better, for ourselves and our families, just as our father had done for us. And so, we decided to carry on his legacy. BagelBros&Co aims to carry on the principles our father instilled in us into the future as we serve the Shelton community.
